Exeter Library has a a fantastic collection of early and rare books and they have a new scheme to get people to adopt a book from the collection to pay for the restoration of these ancient books. TRAIL 2013
The inspiring Teignmouth recycled art in the landscape sculpture TRAIL 2013 is now installed along the sea front until 5th September, a great thing to visit with the kids at this beautiful south Devon coast town. Regulars will know that I have contributed pieces to this great annual event for a number of years now. This year I was inspired by the sight of a non-biodegradable carrier bag on the beach, and have crocheted old carrier bags into a giant squid, complete with a couple of old Barbie doll victims.
