Arteca – Art eco charity auction

I currently have a number of items in display at the Harlequin shopping Centre in Exeter in the June exhibition Arteca auction.

Arteca is a new, exciting project combining exhibition and auction in Exeter City Centre. Shows run for a month, over which time the public are actively encouraged to bid on the work. Arteca is a not for profit project co-ordinated by the charity Book-Cycle and the artist led initiative Threebproductions. The organisers seek to promote self sustainability, both in terms of the environment and artistic practice.

100% of sales of my recycled raindrops will go to the Helen Foundation and 60% of my other sales will go to the Exeter Scrap Store.

East Devon Arts Festival

I am exhibiting at the East Devon Arts Festival at the Parish Church  of Thorverton running May 15th until Saturday 19th. There are a range of fantastic local artists on display and It’s a beatuiful Devon village for a stroll. There are home cooked lunches and suppers at the church during the festival, and  a lovely pub in the village so why not make a day of it.

New look website has undergone a major revamp. Hopefully everything is now a bit cleaner and as a result more visually pleasing experience. There are a few bits and pieces still being ironed out, but I would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions.

Seasons wishes.

Wishing everyone a very happy solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year. The attached photo was sunset on the shortest day of 2011 looking across Budleigh Salterton in South Devon, a beautiful and inspiring evening. I have lots of ideas to get started on in 2012 so please do follow my progress here and on my blog

Please come and say hello at the TAAG affordable art fair in Teignmouth where I will be stewarding from 1-5pm on Friday 30th December. The exhibition is running until 20th January.

Exhibition opens – TAAG, Teignmouth

Over twenty local artists under the title of “Affordable Art” will be at the TAAG exhibition in Teignmouth from 11th to 23rd December.

If that’s not reason enough to stop in, then anyone visiting the gallery between 3pm and 8pm on Sunday 11th will be invited to join in our celebration with a glass of mulled wine and possibly some good live local music whilst viewing the exhibits. More details
